My son’s girlfriend, Baylee, and I share the same birthday. What are the odds? This year we celebrated by going to Coffee and Canvas in Longwood and painting trees with my niece Sarah, who’s visiting from Portland. Owner and artist, Laura Bird Miller, a good friend of mine, helped Baylee, Sarah and me turn acrylic paints into masterpieces. I had a hard time making my turbulent stream flow somewhere other than into the air. And Baylee and Sarah had a hard time not dipping their paint brushes into their coffee. What a great birthday. Thanks Baylee and Sarah for hanging out with the midlife mom. You two rock!
